The National Capital Heavy Construction Association represents the heavy construction industry in the national capital region.
NCHCA is comprised of over 200-member companies with over 9000 employees, $350 million payroll, and an annual capital investment of $165 million.

To promote the role of our industry (road building, aggregate, bridge, sewer and water main construction firms as well as supporting businesses) in the construction and maintenance of sustainable infrastructure.
To continuously advocate strong, clear positions and expectations to municipal, provincial and federal governments on our industry issues.
To serve as a resource to promote recruitment to our industry, organize technical and safety training and encourage educational development.
To facilitate the two-way flow of information between our industry and our stakeholders in order to ensure better understanding and cooperation between the public, owners, designers and contractors.
To organize social and learning activities to promote leadership, professionalism, goodwill and cooperation within our membership and between our industry and our stakeholders.
